OK, I caught up the good old fashiond way - I cheated. I asked some help from your mom - I think you get the picture if your familiar with the cheat codes - saving the need to go back and back and back again, and avoiding having to play below Deathwish. Not as satisfying, I know, but I had to catch up with you guys and the time I have for playing is limited.
Anyway, this level was not one that I remembered as being all that difficult when I last played it (on Ian's Normal), but on Deathwish it does have its moments. Fortunately, a slow, deliberate approach works well here and the only major problem is with that swarm of beetles, which requires a lot of fast action and ducking out of the way. I actually only needed to resort to a saved game once, so I guess I did this OK. The maze with all the beasts was tough, but they barbequed quite nicely. Had I not used the saved game cheat code, it would have probably taken me several tries, but I still found this level easier than the last one, which would have taken many, many tries.
You might want to mention to everyone the need to keep an extra saved game for the next series of levels. G3 Sunbathing at 300 MHz involves a lot of running in vacuum, a few points to save one's game and a real lack of O2 to be found, making an unplayable saved game a very real possibility.
Have fun!
