: THE END. This was hysterical! Follow Steve Levinson's advice, destroy your pref's file and the pref's they rode into town on. Anymore, if you load A1 of any flavor onto your computer the first thing to do is to do a search for all A1 prefs on all your hard disks and put them to the torch. I've had M1A1 (et al) reading long forgotten A1 prefs in places it had no business looking. When it finds an old prefs file it will happily screw itself to death with it. Also, this is probably not all that far fetched ... if you had A1 on a disk that hard crashed and was subsequently removed, find the damn disk even if you have to back hoe the county landfill, then drive a wooden stake though it's evil black heart.
