What is this 5th dimension?
Posted By: VikingBoyBillyDate: 4/4/15 4:19 p.m.

If I'm being generous, I say the Marathon engine has 4 dimensions of space at most. But I don't consider height where bridges are incomprehensible as a full dimension, so only 3.5 The polygons have Length, Width, Height x 0.5, and... uh... I'll call the last one "layer." So what is this 1.5 extra dimensions bungie is referring to? Time? I don't think that concept was popular until the early 2000s. Does platforms moving up and down describe their state in "time" or something, is that the logic here? I think that's lame. I want some super extra hyper dimension of spaces within other spaces co-existing in two other spaces that are completely isolated in the first 3.5 dimensions.

Is that what teleporting does?
