: message: During Ensign Anderson's funeral, Commander Jordan read his last
: wishes. Apparantly he wanted to have his corpse coated with lard and
: honey, and ejected out the airlock to float in space forever as a living,
: or rather rotting reminder to all, of his brilliant alternative to space
: suits. It is with great sadness that we now coat and eject the body of the
: fallen. However, this does fill in the entertainment quota for today...

Did you forget to put in the part where they had to send a shuttle to recover and wash his body before re-coating it and re-ejecting it? Or did I just accidentally skim over it when reading?
Also, could bacteria really live in a body floating space? I mean, maybe they might be insulated if they're deep enough inside a tissue, but it seems like the whole thing would cool to background temperature pretty quickly.
