Uh, ceiling is darker then floor, only use the extreme light and dark when you want something to be really lgiht or dark (...no shit, what a good tip that was)
I think someone posted some kind of guide on this forumat some point. And I'm pretty sure Gary 'The battlecat' has somthing on his webwonks site thingy. Don't have the url...
