OS 9
Posted By: CheerfulDate: 5/3/05 6:04 p.m.

Hey! I don't know if anyone here remembers me, but I used to post a fair amount through the spring and summer of 2004. I haven't been playing Marathon lately because... well I can't. I bought a G5 computer, and it only has OS X. Recently I've been trying to install OS 9, but I can't seem to do it. Basically once it begins to start up, I get a message saying: "The system software on the startup disk only functions on the original media, not if copied to another drive." Then it gives me an option to restart, and if I press that I get the same message again. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks.
