that's simple to solve. it only takes like 3 months or so to learn how to sing. (but how good you sing is another problem)

i started in a band one year after i started learning playing guitar. Luckily we had an adult to help us (my guitar teacher) and he teached us songs to start with. But that was the first year. After that we started covering songs by ourself. And then in late 2002 we started writing songs. Now the only worthy excuse you got there is "being lazy".
