: One is that the artists at Bungie realized that the M1 Pfhor looked like
: cartoon drunks, or like they're wearing a big red clown nose. But that's a
: little too obvious.
: The more appropriate X-Files/Story Page answer would be that the Pfhor
: garrison on L'hwon was made up of inferior specimens, high-eyed Pfhor that
: were looked down upon and despised by the low-eyed Pfhor elites who
: attacked the Marathon. Obviously the high-eyed losers would all be
: shuttled off to frontier outposts so the low-eyed, "pure" Pfhor
: didn't have to look at them and their freakish forehead optics.
There is also the long lost third theory that all the high-eyed Pfhor were once low-eyed Pfhor who got kicked in the ass so hard by an Enforcer that it rearranged their optics. By the time M2 rolled around, most of the low-eyed Pfhor had already been caught goofing off, peeking through windows, pickle polishing, bending over trying to pick up spit, or any of the other bajillians of minor infractions that make an Enforcer go ballistic.
