In Response To: OT? Evolution All Around Us (emildlux) I don't deny evolution occurs, I'd have to be an idiot to say that species do not adapt over time to their environments through the process of selective breeding. I do believe that evolution cannot explain the origins of life. while it is true that evolution can change the skin tonee or hues of a creature to make increase it's survivability in a given ecosystem, I find it immpossible to credit that this same proces could create such dramatic difernces between species as we observe today, or that it could create sentient life from nutrient-ritch sludge. Evolution's presence is incontrovertable, but It cannot be credited as the origin of all life.
