: Apparently Human history is 343GS's "lost time". Personally, I
: Anyway, this isn't rhetorical, I'm curious as to what others think. : --Liq If you break down "Our lost time" we get some discrepencies. Our - could refer to either human and forerunner together OR forerunner by themselves lost time - what i thought about this was specifically to do with the forerunner. it's like if we existed before the ice age and got wiped out, that part of our history is missing. To them, with the knowledge of humans ti fits the void that was left by the activation of halo. This idea is alos expressed in the movie 'Planet of the Apes' *If you don't want to know the story line don't read* Basically he travles in time to this world that is overrun with monkeys, and then he discovers that his ship crashed there thousands of years ago and the monkeys are desendents of the monkeys they used for testing on the human ship. So to the monkeys they have no idea of their origin, but truly that portion of their history is a mysetry. lost time - could also mean something diferent. If you take this deeper you can derive that maybe the forerunners are desendants of humans, or the other way around. Either way it seems that someone fits in here somehow. Like the missing piece of the puzzle. does any of this make sense?
