I can understand a preference for it in some cases, but why should a more abstract depiction of the human body be more acceptable or desirable in this case or in general? : Cortana was always nude, but Bungie usually downplayed that. She was missing
I don't buy that. Graphics improvements and changes happen regardless, and they've affected Cortana's appearance before. If Bungie was going to downplay her appearance I don't know why they made it like that in the first place. I think 343i kept her appearance pretty consistent except for her face and maybe her markings and opacity.
