The Zero Punctuation review of Halo 4 - and Halo 3, for : that matter - would have been far more positive if he'd been able to : follow the events of the game. Even we, members of a community proud of : its understanding of the universe, are still working out what exactly : happened and why. If Halo's mass appeal is its multiplayer, then its : singleplayer will suffer. If we want 343i to care about the stories we're : getting, they have to be comprehensible to new gamers. They need to do : what Bioware did with Mass Effect 3 and provide the opportunity to learn : about the events through playing the game. That's fair enough. I know that my thoughts on the matter probably aren't shared by too many other people, but the best Halo experience for me would tie all of the media together tightly. Of course this wouldn't be the best approach for everyone. But as someone who actually takes the time to keep up with everything, it was great being rewarded with more than a few scraps.
