For one thing, because Drake is way different from Lara Croft. He may be jumping about in comparable ways, but he's not Lara, and from what I've seen he doesn't even move as well as she does, in some regards. Ages ago I watched a bunch of Uncharted 2 walkthrough vids to see what the fuss was about. I was struck by his hunched posture and oddly short legs, and it actually became quite uncomfortable to watch him run. It was like I wanted to tell him to straighten up and stride more freely. He sure didn't match up to the grace of Lara in Underworld - quite apart from being a bloke 'n all. In that game I found her running animation especially impressive. For another thing, the Uncharted 2 gameplay seemed to keep getting interrupted by cutscenes, frequently very long. I think the developer was trying to make the game feel quite movie-like. But that was a major negative for me and would've driven me nuts. It's just not the sort of experience I'm after. For me, cutscenes break immersion so I prefer them to be used only sparingly. Of course, if this new TR game is rebooting Lara as completely as munky-058 says, I've no idea how the new Lara will match up to the old, or whether it even makes much sense to still call her Lara Croft, other than for business reasons.
