We've already stated that armor aesthetic appearance ≠ generation. A couple of canonical reasons for this (see variants (QCB, Recon, etc), but TBH, the main reason is that we'd be stuck with Xbox 1 aesthetics if we didn't apply that rule. But it is nice to tweak the "Mark V shape" with better tools available to us now.
