That's right.

Speaking as the one who made it:

We were just going with a more subdued, somber approach to the site. You don't want "This is the way the world ends" to be bright and sparkly. The monitor you see is just supposed to continue the trend in the last two Halo pages (both 343) just desaturated and toned down to match the "feel" of the page we were going for.

So any "story" elements you should get out of it are the same ones you got from the trailer, mood and tone, nothing else. Sorry! Thanks for playing. :)
