Doubtful. Cortana is definetly an asset to the Gravemind. I think he'd probably protect her pretty well. I don't think our little Motley Crew is going to take him on alone, not with all the corpses the MC left around HC and the likelihood that HC is swarming with warrior forms. Also, if Cortana so chose, this would be a prime opportunity to make a break from humanity. She has to know of her own short lifespan and impending decommission date. I find it hard to believe she wouldn't make some kind of effort in the interest of self-preservation. I think she and the Gravemind make a pretty powerful team. The immortal physical prescence coupled with the immortal cyber-presence. They complement each other pretty well, just like Cortana and the MC do; although the MC is virtually immortal. I don't particularly care for the idea of Cortanan going evil, per se, but I wouldn't mind seeing her going rogue from her masters and pulling a bit of a Durandal. ~Ma1 | |
