edge numbers

I sent this to hippieman, but I'll post it here also.

I don't know what the significance is, but here goes. If one looks at the numbers around the edges of each glyph, subtract the number from the number before it (clockwise) and write the result down. Going in the same direction, do the same for each number. Once the results are calculated, add them together. They will add up to 0. This works in either direction. For example, in glyph 1 (going clockwise).

19 - 37 = -18
50 - 19 = 31
62 - 50 = 12
75 - 62 = 13
20 - 75 = -55
24 - 20 = 4
41 - 24 = 17
37 - 41 = -4

(-18) + 31 + 12 + 13 + (-55) + 4 + 17 + (-4) = 0

The numbers for the other glyphs do the same thing. What this means, I don't know.
