I actually find this hugely annoying because then I have to drop down after them so they can be properly killed. I prefer to murder the alien bastards while they are still up on the ledge.

The game only truly exists on Total Carnage. All lower difficulties are just an illusion, a trick of mind, a cruel bait of men's weaker nature. Only through the trial and ordeal which is Total Carnage can the gnosis of the 7 Great Mysteries be revealed. Do not be fooled.
