Is this because the S'pht aren't upgraded by the difficulty change, or because the Pfhor are so aggressive that they don't even let the S'pht have a chance to fire at all? If the S'pht all become Majors on Total Carnage, then it's simply because the Pfhor can stun-lock them to death, but if not, then it's simply because the S'pht suddenly and inexplicably get downgraded.
