In Response To: Remember the Rampancy Boys? (Godot) : Over the last couple of day I had the need to check out out the in-game views

: Rampancy.net has gone on to do some excellent play throughs. Check them out. : Cheers
Their coverage of Evil and Tempus Irae was what convinced me to play those mods and their reading of Evil's terrible writing is hilarious, especially in A Million Ways to Spend your time: https://youtu.be/GbP20iTdt6Y?list=PLIof4Cp3-camW66k0Z1vHD6NEn4-eT_RD&t=1064 Their Doom gag in Marathon 1 even inspired part of my writing a similar gag for Eternal, but for Brutal Doom Extermination Day & Doom Eternal, as those were that franchise's counterparts to Marathon Eternal (the former pulling double duty as the Redux as well if you count chapter 1 in the Mars base)
Same with their Doom 3 LP, which has inspired me to do a writeup series for Doom (with plenty of my saying Marathon is the better game in vanilla engine terms) on my log at some point, from BFG Edition through to Eternal. Ain't posting it here for obvious reasons as despite my seeing that franchise as a Marathon prequel, it's not a Bungie game so that would be pushing it. I'll wait till next year for it as well. I might post a look at the PID mod for Doom 3 however, as that is based on a Bungie game (with some nice arc welding between the Bungie & id universes in the PDA) but it's full of wasted potential due to being laughably unfinished. Speaking of Rampancy.net's videos, I hope they cover Halo SPV3 at some point too, as well as W'rkncacnter's excellent PID A1 port, though those aren't designed for co-op. Still, hasn't stopped them before e.g. Fran Bow, Bioshock, Oni etc. They're more than welcome to use my SPV3 Tour of Duty as a walkthrough if they get stuck in the former. One of my favourites has to be their MST3K themed highlights video for Marathon 1 as it got me into that show, and the movie the audio clips were from.
