The Future War Cult (joinable faction) has a mind-forking device that allows users to peek into other timelines (if they don't go bonkers first). While there's been no mention yet of someone looking into timelines of anywhere but the Destiny-verse, the person (Lakshmi-2) who confirms the origins of the Multi-Tool is the representative of the FWC.
While not alternate timelines, Destiny also has a lot of weird related stuff, like the Black Garden (a place which exists outside/isolated from space and time). Which, incidentally, sounds a bit like the garden from the KYT terminal.
