Sounds like a Jjaro thing to me... (Was 'found unknown tech on Earth's moon' mentioned in canon or was it one of my own inventions?)

: - Strauss had access to that tech, and may have used it to program/experiment
: on Durandal, possibly also Leela and Tycho.

Perhaps that's how Durandal merged with Thoth so easily in Infinity?

Also--it's mentioned that, during MIDA's brief reign, they killed ten percent of the Martian population; I think that info might be new, as well.
