The original Marathon 1 CD release included seven CD-Audio tracks on it only, which aren't used by the game; they're just a hidden bonus feature should you happen to try playing the game disc in a CD player. (Like Jingle Bobs from the Marathon 2 CD, or Bob Danube from the Infinity CD). The game uses the same MIDI tracks off the data portion of the CD (or as copied to your HD) that the floppy release would.

The Trilogy Release did not include any CD-Audio tracks on any of its discs.
