:I don't know what masticulaltions means, and wiktionary doesn't have an answer. But I think we :can :interpret from their behavior that these guys in sunglasses are not human.
I believe "masticulaltions" to be a portmanteau of the word masticate which means to chew, in this case the girlfriend's gum, and the word articulation. Articulation has multiple meanings, I believe the most relevant refers to a type of moving joint in robotics.

Thus implying that the Girlfriend is at least in this dream sequence to be perceived to be at least part mechanical or cyborg.
