An excellent write-up, though I'm afraid I have nothing to add. :P
The dream levels are full of opportunities for musing on the metaphysics of the Marathon world. I can't say quite the same for the levels I picked to do, but By Committee does offer a good opportunity to reflect on the flow of Infinity's timelines and the events leading up to where we're at, alongside a whole bunch of other oddities pointed out in Philtron's Volunteers Expanded article on the level, all of which I will have to point out in the course of my own write-up.
I've never paid much attention to this level, and I admit I have trouble keeping up with you guys on the metaphysical details - I may enjoy philosophy, but Infinity is somehow too hard for me. The level is surprisingly difficult, and I had to redo that part with the Enforcer and invisible S'pht below several times, partly because I had lost a lot of health before then, and had only a small amount of juice left.
