I think it'd be just fine if you got somebody to help you with Infinity - after M2, my work is essentially done (though of course I may want to do one or two levels, just for fun), and from there on out, Tour of Duty is all yours. If you want, you can even do one of the third-party scenarios, though for that, I should probably help you pick one; they can be a real pain if you don't pick the right one: Evil is just the right size (in addition to being well-known as one of the best scenarios out there), but if you wanted, you could always do Rubicon in a more condensed form (more vague, quick, and short writing style), and I could help you with that. In any case, you're in charge after M2 - do what you will.
