When the game shipped at the end of Dec '94 it just got worse. If you were waiting for your copy to ship over Christmas (like I was) you had to be very careful when reading posts since they were full of people's Marathon experiences, tips, hints, secrets etc. : The spoiler guide, I think, also already assumes a player is pretty : familiar with the level, and a lot of times its instructions really : aren't helpful unless you are. Absolutely. The Spoiler Guide does exactly what it says on the tin. It's not a walkthrough per se but it can get you through most of the difficult spots. However, it does contain errors and omissions. The only true walkthrough for Marathon is Tuncer Deniz's Official Strategy Guide. Rare as hen's teeth now. But it contains a step by step, run down the corridor, turn the corner, flip the switch, kill the bad guys walkthrough.
