In Response To: Though many friends of legit people get/sneak in *NM* (matt41000) Most of the people at E3 seem to be programmers, artists, designers... basically people who are really in the industry. I've heard that a lot of people who operate small "game review" websites get in (not like GameSpot or IGN, the one-man kind written by some kid out of his basement), and some of the people at the show that were interviewed by various mags didn't sound like your average developer... It happens on a much wider scale at the ECTS show. It's a little known secret that half of the "professionals" there actually aren't, and are there to stuff carrier bags with anything they can get their hands on. Sony actually realised this and put on a consumer show called the PlayStation Experience. Perhaps Microsoft should do something similar this year.
