In Response To: 343GS quotes and thoughts *long* (Mark Simmons) This is just my opinion. You all probably know most of this. The Forerunner is "worshipped" by the covenant so forerunner can't have a connection with the humans or at least a good connection. Why else would the covenant feel they need to destroy all humans? 343GS thinks that your a forerunner. Humans must at one time be related to forerunners. If humans and forerunner were the same then it must only be a genetic similarity, like forerunner were humans who left earth us or something. This is my Educated guess: Before the known history of humans, we were highly advanced and populated many planets, some humans left and overtime became thier own race. For reasons unknown there was hostility between the 2 peoples. Somewhere along the way in an uncertain order the following events took place: Halo(s) built, flood outbrake, Halo fired. The flood outbrake destroyed most human life. The humans who populated earth ,later still know as humans, and the other group ,later known as forerunner, were left. The Reclaimer(a forerunner) fired halo to stop the flood. Because only one halo was fired, not all life in this galaxy died. If it wasn't for the recapture and confinement of the flood to the Halo 04 ,the one that fired, they would have spread more. The halo firing couldnt have killed life ON it self because the original reclaimer recapture the flood. The destruction caused by the flood and halo erased our history and left us to start humanity over again. The old reclaimer left and thousands of years later Master Chief came. This is why 343GS could think MC is Reclaimer, who is a Forerunner.
