Hey Ross, You probably remember me, I used to post a lot. Lately I've found other things to occupy my time, but I check in here from time to time. The thing is, if you do something for the community, sometimes you need to settle for the fact that not everyone is going to notice, care, or respond enthusiastically. Here's an example - a few months ago I typed up a complete guide to Multiplayer Halo in anticipation of a Halo weekend with my friends, some of whom hadn't memorized every aspect of the game. Did I send it to HBO? No. I did it just for the sake of doing it. Then last week I saw someone else did the same thing and I thought, "Hey, I should have sent that in." But just because I didn't doesn't mean it wasn't worth doing. Anyway, to get back to your movie - I liked it, though I got sick of seeing Cortana over and over again with that same bob running behind her. And I wouldn't have known about the movie if Louis hadn't posted a link to it on the main page. So don't get all pissy that Louis didn't take your joke the right way. I can tell you this, if you take a month away from HBO, when you come back there will be all sorts of new movies to watch, screenshots, maybe even an easter egg. With summer just around the corner, it's the perfect time to take a break. -Patrick | |
