In Response To: What does everyone's name mean? *OT* (ragereset) basically, the name is from an old project i did in seventh grade. we made a magazine about the paranormal called "chronicles of the oddworld", taking a naming cue from the original oddworld video game which came out around then (abe's oddysee). the magazine and the game had nothing in common, but it was a cool name. so when i picked my email address that summer, it ended up being oddworld18@yahoo.com, because i messed up registration for oddworld17 (my birthday is august 17). a few years later i applied for a job at Planet C&C, and so the name stuck when dario (the webmaster) hired me. i adopted it here because i like having a single internet presence - every listing for "oddworld18" in google is me, save one asshat who has an angelfire site. : Where does everyone get their name from?
