It's about right - high, even.

Cable service here is 512 down, 128 up. And there are no options for scale-up. :( (Not only that... but when they were having a 'free installation and first month free' deal for checking it out, I tried it, so that I'd have a backup here when the T1 went down... I RARELY got above 128 down. Forget up altogether.)

I've heard of folks with 7000 down on occasion... but it's pretty unusual. Especially at busy times. If you get 2000 consistently, you're doing pretty well.
