In Response To: I Need Your Help. (Ar-Isildur Update) (SilverBrin****of WP)
: Well, as most of you may know, the HBO regular, the defender of love
: himself, Ar-Isildur, has been fighting cancer for the past two years. A
: lot of you don't know that Ar and I are best friends in real life. We live
: just across the street from each other which allows me to keep up on his
: health. He hasn't been around on the forum lately due to pains all over
: his body. He has spent the last week in the hospital, and his condition
: has greatly worsened. All I am comfortable saying is that Ar’s pains have
: turned out to be more than just pains, and are making his condition much
: more complex.
: The details are not important; Ar simply needs your help. Prayers, thoughts,
: sympathy, cards, and anything you can manage would be greatly appreciated.
: Please, Ar-Isildur looks up to each and every one of you on this forum.
: You guys have been great friends and he thinks of you often. Please, show
: your love to Ar and his family as they go through this agonizing battle.
: His dad has asked us all, if we would be so inclined to pray: “Oh gracious
: and merciful God, extend your healing hands to Brian. Relieve his pain and
: restore his health. We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ our
: Lord. Amen”
: So I find it now, our responsibility to think and care for this very special
: young man who has remained cheerful, optimistic, and in all around good
: spirits despite his dramatic and frustratingly-unfair circumstances. He
: just turned 19 in the hospital and from what I understand is quite
: conscious and alert. Below is his address at the hospital.
: Brian Morden
: 8 North
: Children’s Hospital
: 3705 5th Ave
: Pittsburgh, Pa
: 15213
: Please, send him your love and support! I think it will help is body, mind,
: and spirit more than any medicine can!
: Thank You All Very Much,
: SilverBrin****
Look, I don't know Brian, not personally. But I've read many of his posts (although I quit visiting the forum some time ago), and I respect the man. Please send him and his family my respect and prayers, and I'll work on a card when I get home later today.
