I've been in several of those spaces above the square forcefield-type things. I never found anything, but I haven't checked every single one.

There's a neat texture that you can look at while climging into those spaces. The texture is located along the bottom edge of those spaces. It looks to me like someone got a little sloppy while re-using the "blue lines" wall texture. :)
