Have you ever wondered how a forum poster can use those other, crazier fonts? Well, look no further. If you wish to use the adrenaline-filled System font, for example...

No one believes you, KORHAL.

Here, simply use the "font face" tag. I typed this exactly:

<font face="System">No one believes you, KORHAL.</font>


An easier way to adjust the font size is to use "headings":

There will be no Halo 1.5.

The exact font code was this:

<h2>There will be no Halo 1.5.</h2>.

You can use h1 through h6; h1 is the largest heading, while h6 is tiny.


In addition to links leading to websites, you can also link to email addresses; one quick click and the user will be able to type out an email to you. Whether that's good or bad is your call, but here is one.

Flame *Ar-Isildur of *WP*.

Here, I simply typed out this:

<a href="mailto:arisildur@subnova.com">Mail *Ar-Isildur of *WP*</a>.


If you wish to make an image link to another page, simply combine the image and link thusly:

I simply typed this:

<a href="http://halo.bungie.org/faq/"><img src="http://carnage.bungie.org/haloforum/images/faqbutton2.gif"></a>

If you want to get rid of that annoying border around the image, so it looks
like so:

Type this:

<a href="http://halo.bungie.org/faq/"><img border="0" src="http://carnage.bungie.org/haloforum/images/faqbutton2.gif"></a>


Throughout this post, I have been using horizontal ruled lines to separate
topics. If you want to use one of these, simply type in <hr>.

There are many more things you can do with HTML. It is a very easy
language to learn, and a simple search for "html tutorial" or suchlike will help you.

Note: some of the HTML tags may look funny because they have word wrapped to a new line.
