Although, the Marathon marine, : he DOES take orders, which America has never done. "Ice-cold emotion"? You obviously don't live in America. And just because every country doesn't agree with everything the U.S. does doesn't make it solitary. You won't find a single country in this world which agrees 100% with another country's policy. Sure, there are differences, but in a time of crisis, America finds that it is not alone. And what country does take orders from another country? : And I don't think that America is fighting any "overwhelming : force". People who need to resort to killing themselves while killing : us with our own civilian vehicles do not strike me as overwhelming. The : Master Chief is a single body in a sea of aggression, even hatred. : However, unlike America, the Chief didn't bring this hatred unto himself : let alone intice it. He's simply acting in the interest of survival, a : meager request, even for a device of his sophistication. You're right about it not being an overwhelming force, even if it is a dangerous force. However, the U.S. didn't bring hatred on itself. People in dire circumstance throughout the world always need someone to blame, and now that communism has effectively collapsed, the U.S. is the only tangible scapegoat. Some of the problems in this world are the fault of the U.S.; however, the U.S. is not the source of all evil as many people seem to believe. Oh, and one thing I've noticed. Many foreign journalists like to blame America for not policing the world and settling disputes. But when the U.S. does try its hand at that, they scream imperialism. I have always thought that if you have the power to prevent wrongdoing, you should use it. (That's just me speaking.) : No, I think that the Master Chief is very UNLIKE America. So please don't : ruin a game that I enjoy by comparing it to something that I don't. He can compare it to whatever he wants. Free speech, my friend. That's another thing the U.S. has to offer that most other countries don't. Obviously, you don't live in America. I used to live in Canada, so I have a little bit of experience with foreign countries (although Canada isn't much different from the U.S.), and after listening to both foreign and native American critics, I have one thing to say: The only people who hate America are those who have never visited it and those who have never left it. Because you see, America is really not a great country. It is, in fact, a mediocre country. But the other countries on this dark world are even worse off, so I'm very happy and thankful to God to be here.
