Hmm. Where does it say that? In any event, it's pretty obvious that you're in a gravity field but aren't spinning. Any time you look out a window, the stars and other objects outside are stationary, not rotating like they would if you were in a spinning segment of the ship. Also, you're in gravity up to where you reach the escape pod (and when you're on the pod), but the takeoff cinema shows that the lifeboat bay is stationary. So there IS an artificial gravity generator on the PoA. :-)
