I honestly can't remember if there are any loading zones at all...I'll have to re-play it. But, if I'm reading you right, it sounds like the entire level is always there. The amount of contiguous landscape (w/ such a High LOD) the engine/hardware is capable of seems very impressive to me. Maybe I'm just easy that way.
