I don't think it is when you are outside... the basic deal is if you don't do that loading zone, i think at some point you will hit a "black void" wall/ but you might not/ or it might be far away/ or around the corner. I think the security room shaft is part of the geometry when outside, anyway. : I thought there were : load points between the inside and outside but the final SC cut scene : shows both. Unless the cutscene uses a "special " model, is the : whole level just one monster mesh? I don't really know how the loading works in those scenes... and I would be afraid to guess:) But what I can say is that underneath that "lid" on the top of cartographer is the security room. I've gone through it before. There isn't a load zone between the security room shaft and the outside. (is there?) :)
