Would you agree that the water space and the floor space are two large overlapping squares, set at 45 degrees of each other?
It seems like the first barrier walls are transparent and have no texture mapping, and the outer boundary walls have texture mapping, but no actual image assigned to them, so, they looks "transparent."
I killed the other player at the inner walls and the outer walls.
It makes a blood spatter on the outer walls. It doesn't at the first barrier walls.
As with other boundary-type walls, grenades, plasma blasts, rockets, etc. seem to pass right through.
