These people will always have an 'out' if they're proven wrong. When it's announced they'll pick apart the details and claim that some stipulation proves them right all along.

"Oh yeah, PC Halo was announced, but I've gotten bored with it, haven't the rest of you? So Bungie is wrong because I've moved on."
