I'm really sorry to hear what you went though. You might actually have a small malpractice case. (but I didn't tell you that, since we medical types supposedly stand together, *cough-cough*) And migraines... well, they just plain suck. I'm rather fortunate that I've not yet experienced any, even though my Mother and Father both get them. That is, unless the trauma simply blanks large portions of my memory...

Thing is, stories like yours aren't all that uncommon anymore. The general level of care in the USA has gone down. Just like every other industry, management types try to make fewer people do more, and yet expect to maintain the same quality-level!

Blame Satan, and then blame the HMOs, managers and bean-counters who serve him! And blame the politicians who won't do anything about it, because they're taking money from the above-named Minions of Shaitan.
