I just : thought I would add my opinions to the mix. : The Covenant must have encountered the Forerunners before they became : technologically advanced. Why would you worship the Forerunners if you : understood that it was just technology that made them seem like : "gods". If aliens were to land on Earth today, do you think : people would worship them? No, we would understand that they are just more : knowledgeable then us. : It seems highly unlikely that any advanced species would develop a religion : after creating space travel. From what I can see knowledge leads to : skepticism. So I believe that the Covenant must have had some kind of : contact with the Forerunners before the Covenant had an industrial : revolution. Agree? I do, read my post on covenant, flood, forerunners connections etc.
