Well in fact, you are indeed very wrong. I am not an US or Canadian Residental, neither is my first language english. It is german. But I am not german, guess what I am. I am neither Austrian. So there is actualy very little left. Right I am swiss. Besides the fact that I can actualy fluently talk english, I can talk fluently German.
As you might guess, I have no xbox, and I am not going to buy one. All what I know about halo is playing it for 10 minutes in game store, at a place wich we call in swiss german "gerbergässli". Well, I know a little more, because I did very carefully compared the old screenshots of Halo with the current ones. Dispites the fact that the actual screenshots, ironicaly, are all pc engine screenshots.
What goes in terms of my age, well I am most likely older then the most of you.
I am a few month away from my 24th birthday, wich makes me here some kind of a senior.
All of these facts can neither be prooven nor be denied. Because you just don't know. But maybe, and just maybe, you can accept that there extist people, in almost adult age, that like to be rude from time to time but have anyway something in their head.
Well, and maybe, and I know that this is a very limited possibility, you can accept that Halo is actually shit, compared with the Work they apearently had in the past to get it ready.
It does not depend on taste, nor on like or dislike, and this is a point where I am very correct and accurate about when it comes to games.
My opinion, wich is slightly anti M$ colored, is that Halo is a betrayal to all gamers on the world, along with the xbox itself.
If we give ourselfes satisfied with this game, then the next will be even worse. And after that all the games are never going to be better. Current games, and the games from the past few years had all the same problems, they where graphicaly miracles, but content and playabilty stood often in the backround. Everytime I played such a game, and belive me I have by now a very sharp eye to determine one, It had the bitter taste of missed oportunities and potential.
Understand Games as a form of art, at its very beginning. Films are by now almost a stone age old medium. Paintings are realy stone old. But games are not. They are very young, and by now very childish. There exist several attemtps to get out of this dilemma, and I think Peter Molineux actually tried to get out of it. But I think the best way of getting out of this bad content circle, is to actually step aside, and shout loud, haw realy bad a product is.
I am not dening the fact, that this peeps actually did some work, that was in some points over the average. But harsh critics about weak points, are the only possibilty to communicate in a world where everybody is on a hype.
