Quick Question Case...

Or anyone who worked on Halo, since it is thier game. :)

I know that if I have a game in progress saved and I play a previous mission and quit out of it (which would save that game), my old game would be erased. But say I got a game saved, re-play another chapter but don't save it when I quit (in other words, restart my Xbox when I am done with what I wanted to do), would my original game still be there or does each checkpoint do like an auto-save or something?

I ask this because I want to go back and play one of your levels Case, Halo. I want to replay that part where you take the jeep up that hill where all those boulders are. Up at top there are 3 marines waiting for you, and what comes next is just pure chaos with around 50 Covenant rushing up the hill!!! That has been my favorite moment in Halo yet.
