It may not be much, but hell, Gamecube, PS2? none of those interest me AT ALL. So Halo's still got a leg up. What the hell, Mario is inspired now? =p in 20 years they'll be erecting statues to him or something. Don't get me started on Pikmin... And honestly, MasterChief is one cool mascot ^_^ I think there's a definate place in gaming community fandom for badass cyborg commandoes. Anyway, Salon has always written tripe, what did you expect? :)
