Those were : intact. What I was referring to was damage that revealed the technology : inside. : It's hard to reconcile the old with the new. Halo 1/2/3 with Halo 4. I suppose this comes down to headcanon. But to me the Coral structure is one of the last remaining Precursor structures that somehow survived the Halo blast. I know it was intended to be Forerunner... but let's face it, damage textures appear on pretty much all Forerunner structures when you shoot them in all the Halo games. And more than a few have been destroyed/damaged over the course of Halo's fiction.
