I will try later and see if it can be done even when it's near the others. There are at least two cloaked Elites, a few Jackals, other Elites, two Hunters and a couple of Watchers. Obviously I try to thin them out but the pesky Wraith makes this risky. I imagine that the sooner I get the Wraith the quicker the game will end. It would be nice if driver health was decoupled from vehicle health when you board from the front. The turret ploy breaks the fourth wall. A sensible driver wouldn't jump out. He would drive over to a corner and put the nose into it to reduce the harm that the enemy gunner could do. Or face away from his allies until one of them can jump on and bash your head in. I would rather that the game let you clamber over the vehicle, to climb from front to back. Meleeing from behind destroys the vehicle. Melee from the front breaks the hatch then dispatches the driver leaving the vehicle intact for you to steal.
