But you're still going to buy the game aren't you? Developers are going to keep doing 'stupid and ridiculous' things so long as people still buy their games. They only understand money. Do you know why Blizzard got rid of RealID? Because people STARTED CANCELING THEIR PREORDERS EN MASSE. When they saw a large number of people no longer buying their game because of RealID, they caved. In fact, it would be EASIER with a console game since you could get it used later (and not having any of that money go to MS or 343), and still play the game if you really needed your fix. Since each key was tied to one ID on battle.net in SC2, you had to buy new, which made the mass canceling all the more impressive.
