In Response To: Re: Visualizing the Halo Universe: An HBO Art Cont (Seenohte) : Rainforest Wars This is a good idea, but as a little side note, it also reminded me of something I've been meaning to address for a while now: why does everyone, official fiction included, always mention the Rainforest Wars only when referring to the conflicts of the 2160's? There are several people who are known to have fought in the Rainforest Wars, a book has been written about them in-universe, etc. But no one as much as mentions the Jovian Moons campaign or Interplanetary war, which should've been just as, if not more, historically important. Sure, the Rainforest Wars were significant because they happened on Earth, but one would imagine that the Interplanetary War would go down in history as the "primary" conflict of that era. IDK, maybe all of the conflicts are just grouped together as "Rainforest Wars" in the future, despite there not being any rainforests in the off-world colonies. Just a little thing I've found strange, that's all.
